Katarina Rodriguez: “Hindi naman dahil walang wala na sila ay deserve nila ang basura ng mga tao”
KATARINA RODRIGUEZ – The beauty queen-actress took to social media wherein she gave a reminder on donating clothes to Typhoon Odette victims.
It was just last year when Odette, the 15th tropical cyclone for 2021, devastated various parts of the country.
The typhoon wreaks havoc leaving more than 150 casualties as of posting. It is estimated that the damage left is worth millions in infrastructure and agriculture.
To help the typhoon victims, different civic groups, prominent personalities, politicians and even celebrities have organized relief operations.
Among those who have been busy helping the victims of Odette is no less than beauty queen-actress Katarina Rodriguez.
However, she earlier took to social media to express her frustration to those who donate clothes that are not wearable.

Meanwhile, Katarina rose to fame after placing third in the second season of Asia’s Next Top Model in 2014.
After her Asia’s Next Top Model stint, she caught the attention of well-known beauty queen trainer, Jonas Gaffud of Aces and Queens, who encouraged her to try out the pageantry.
She later joined the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant and won the title of Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017.
Eventually, she represented the Philippines at the Miss Intercontinental 2017 pageant held in Hurghada, Egypt on January 24, 2018, where she finished as 1st runner-up to Veronica Salas Vallejo from Mexico.
She also won the Miss Media Popularity award and 1st runner-up in Best in National Costume at the time.
In 2018, she was crowned as the Miss World Philippines.
She represented the Philippines at the Miss World 2018 in Sanya, China on December 8, 2018, but failed to clinch in the semifinals.
Aside from pageantry, she also tried acting.
She once starred in the defunct ABS-CBN primetime series, Make It with You, starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil or commonly known as LizQuen.
Unfortunately, the romantic-drama series was canceled amid the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
