Actress-beauty queen Vickie Rushton is currently being rumored that she will not join the highly-anticipated Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant.
Vickie Rushton was absent in the pictorial of the official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2021.
For her supporters, this is the confirmation that she will not be able to continue participating in the national beauty pageant.
But the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI), the organizer of Binibining Pilipinas, has not yet issued an official statement regarding the matter.
Vickie still mums on the issue while some are citing that her age must have anything to do with her decision to give up participating in Binibining Pilipinas 2021.
Vickie celebrated her 29th birthday on May 8, and this is beyond the age requirement for candidates of international beauty pageants like Miss International.
Those who believe in Vickie’s ability regret it because they are convinced that she has a good chance of winning the Binibining Pilipinas beauty title and becoming the representative of the country in the international beauty contest.
Vickie is not new to participating in beauty pageants. In fact, she won Mutya ng Pilipinas-International in 2011.
Seven years later, Vickie tried her luck in Binibining Pilipinas, but she was only the first runner-up in the 55th edition in 2018.
The following year, Vickie joined the 56th edition of Binibining Pilipinas. Unfortunately, she didn’t get a seat because her answer in the question-and-answer segment didn’t pass the jurors.
Meanwhile, out of the thirty-eight (38) official candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2021, only 34 will join the pageant.
