In a report on Gizchina, Facebook officially removed its app from the Microsoft Store last February 2020 and the company recommended that users who still wanted to use the said app should download it from the web.

But in a twist of events, Facebook’s app for Windows 10 was back on Microsoft Store after almost a year out.

The said app was already available on Microsoft Store, but everything wasn’t smooth as the said app was returning as a Progressive Web Application (PWA).

According to Gizchina, the said app required Windows 10 Build 19003 and was powered by the Chromium Edge engine.

Nevertheless, the format, appearance, workability, and design of the said app were pretty good as it supported both light and dark mode and almost looked chrome-less. You can download and install the Facebook Beta app in the Microsoft Store.
