Isko Moreno Says President Duterte Has Right To Name Bets He Deems Unfit To Be President

ISKO MORENOManila Mayor Francisco Domagoso said on Tuesday that it’s President Rodrigo Duterte’s right to name the presidential candidates who were supposedly unfit for the top post.

During the press conference, Moreno said that it’s the right of the President to disclose those candidates who were unscrupulous. He also said that the President was still a voter and he’s entitled to his opinion and observation.

I do believe anybody, they can explain themselves whoever they are at the end of the day,” Moreno said. “Botante pa rin si President Duterte, boboto pa rin si President on top of his obligation being the president, he is still a citizen of the country.

Earlier, the President said that he would name the presidential candidates who were the “most corrupt” and who he thought lacked the know-how to become the country’s next president.

President Duterte claimed that one of the presidential aspirants for the 2022 elections was a drunkard, while the other aspirant was inexperienced for the top post. He also said that he would leave it to the Filipinos to decide if they would believe him or not.

Meanwhile, Moreno reiterated in the same presser that he’s open to disclosing his SALN (Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth) to the public.

This came after presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said that there’s no reason to release his SALN to the public, especially if this would only be used to attack government officials.
