It was in 2004 when the Up Dharma Down or UDD was formed.

The group is behind the hit singles such as; Oo, Tadhana, Sigurado, Sana, Indak and to name a few.

Through the years, they have released four albums titled; Fragmented, Bipolar, Capacities, and U D D under independent record label Terno Recordings.

The group also earned numerous awards and citations. In 2008, they were awarded as Favorite Indie Artist at the Myx Music Awards.

Sometime in 2017, the band officially renamed to its initials UDD.

But recently, Armi Millare, the vocalist and keyboardist of Up Dharma Down announced that she’s leaving the band and will continue as a solo artist.

“UDD has remained my longest relationship, one that I’ve tried to keep sacred and tried to preserve with the principles I have upheld from the moment I learned that I had a dream: that one day I would be in that one band I would dedicate my life to,” she said.

Her announcement saddened many, especially their fans and supporters who have witnessed how they rose to prominence thanks to their left and right concerts and gigs.

The remaining members of UDD are Carlos Tañada (lead guitars, synthesizers), Ean Mayor (drums, samplers), and Paul Yap (bass, synthesizers).

According to them, they will continue producing songs under their record label.
