Typhoon Odette update as of 2 PM today

TYPHOON ODETTE – PAGASA announced via its latest bulletin issued at 2 PM today, December 16, 2021, that it intensifies further and has made landfall over Siargao Island and Surigao del Norte.

It is traversing West Northwestward at 30 km/h and has maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 240 km/h, and a central pressure of 915 hPa.

At 1:30 PM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon Bising was located in the vicinity of Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte (9.9°N, 126.1°E).
