Motorcycle Rider Dies After Hitting Vehicle at the Opposite Lane
A motorcycle rider has passed away after hitting a car on a head-to-head collision in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.
Road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
The government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists violating the traffic policy.
A CCTV camera caught the tragic accident between a motorcycle rider and a car on the opposite lane in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental. The rider tried to overtake along the highway but failed to make it.
In the video, the rider is running a little bit fast while overtaking on the opposite lane and hit the red vehicle. The motorist named Andy Caranay was sent pummeling on the ground and passed away due to strong impact of the collision.
The vehicle suffers damages due to the incident but the driver survived with no injuries. The driver could face reckless imprudence resulting to homicide. The latter refused to give a statement regarding to the incident.
Meanwhile, a warehouse containing alcoholic beverages in Butuan City caught fire. The flame started inside the warehouse and lasted for a couple of hours. The residences near the vicinity also caught fire.
The firefighters immediately respond and successfully put out the fire. Luckily, no one got injured due to the incident. The authorities are investigating the incident and evaluating the total damage costs.
