Vice President Leni Robredo to Kris Aquino: “Thank you very much, Kris, for always being generous of yourself.”
LENI ROBREDO – The incumbent Vice President recently wrote an appreciation post to actress and TV host Kris Aquino for joining her in delivering assistance to typhoon “Odette” victims in Negros Occidental last December 21.
Kris handed out bags of relief goods during Robredo’s visit to the cities of Himamaylan and Kabankalan in Negros Occidental. The Queen of All Media brought relief goods wearing a pink sweatshirt and a pink face mask.
Robredo was thankful to Aquino for her generosity.
“Very special thanks to Kris Aquino, who not only joined me in Negros Occidental but also generously gave Puregold grocery bags to residents of Kabankalan and Himamaylan who lost their homes because of Typhoon Odette,” Robredo said in a Facebook post last Wednesday.
Apart from the relief goods, the Vice President said that Kris also gave away prepaid SIM cards to 500 Negrenses as well.

The Vice President went to Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental in order to visit the province and to also provide relief assistance to the typhoon “Odette” victims as well.
In the Facebook live video of Vice Governor Edward Mark Macias, the Vice President said that they’ll be leaving a team behind in order to visit the other affected towns in the province.
Last Tuesday, Robredo maintained that she had no agenda in extending help to victims of the typhoon. The Vice President said that there should be no politics in terms of helping Filipinos ravaged by calamities.
