An emotional father bursts into tears after a surprise reunion with his OFW daughter during his birthday celebration.
Roy Parilla could not contain his happiness and cried tears of joy after his OFW daughter Riza surprised him on his 61st birthday. Riza is the who carried his father’s birthday cake.
Riza who is working as an Overseas Filipino Worker in Dubai was not able to come home for over three years due to the coronavirus pandemic. The lady even missed her dad’s 60th birthday last year.
The woman received her negative COVID-19 test on the day of his birthday and quickly packed up to be on time during the celebration.
The Pinay OFW did her best to make her dad’s 61st birthday by being present during the special day. She also revealed that her dad do not have a clue about her arrival and surprise reunion.
“Noong mag-video call kami, sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Kailan kayo uuwi?’ Sabi naman niya sa ‘kin, ‘Basta uuwi ako.” Roy said.
Roy was surprised and delighted when he saw his daughter during his birthday celebration. He even cried tears of joy during the surprise reunion after missing each other for three years.
The OFW revealed that her dad was still heartbroken after losing his wife in 2017. Riza spend a month with his dad during her vacation but she gets emotional before returning to Dubai for work.
“Kung ano ‘yung love na pwede naming ibigay sa mama namin, binuhos nalang namin sa kanya ngayong siya na lang natitira para sa amin,” Riza said.
