Using the ingredients present inside the sachet of instant porridge, Chef Gelo Guison, who is said to be one of the supporters of Robredo filmed himself to prove whether it could feed four people or not.

The rice inside the sachet weighs about 100 grams and it is also accompanied by other ingredients such as soy sauce and garlic.

In the first part of the video, Chef Gelo sauteed all the ingredients and eventually added 6 cups of water until the porridge is ready to be served.

He then placed the instant lugaw in four bowls, portioned them to 200 grams each. It can be seen that the cooked porridge seemed to fit in four bowls.

The video has already earned more than 900k views as of press time. Most of the reactions turned out to be positive.

Recently, a social media post featuring sachets of rice that can be made into porridge went viral. While some are praising the idea especially the so-called “Kakampinks,” there were also those who could not help but criticize it.

Among those who criticize it is no less than Malou Tiquia, who’s also known as the CEO of PUBLiCUS Asia Inc.

“Isang butil na bawang, isang sachet na bigas at susmaryosep na patis ay para sa lugaw ng bata? Akala ko isang bata, yun pala para sa 3-4 na bata. Paano kaya aabot sa 3-4 na bata?” she wrote.

The sachets were distributed to people who allegedly did not reach the cooked porridge prepared by Robredo’s supporters as part of the campaign for the vice president who is running for the presidency.
