Raffy Tulfo is the top pick in the latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia
RAFFY TULFO – The veteran broadcaster lead in the latest senatorial survey released by Pulse Asia.
Many showbiz personalities are trying their luck in the upcoming elections. One of their primary reasons for venturing into politics is to expand their platform in helping others.
Among those who filed their Certificate of Candidacy (COC) before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) are Bobby Andrews, Angelu de Leon, Ejay Falcon and to name a few.
Adding to the list of celebrities-turned-election hopefuls is no less than Raffy Tulfo.
Tulfo is currently the top pick among senatorial bets. In fact, based on the latest Pulse Asia survey conducted last October 28 until November 1, he lead with 68.4% votes.
Following Tulfo on the second spot is Taguig Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano with 59.9%.
Landed on the third place is Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero with 57.3% followed by Antique Rep. Loren Legarda with 50%, and ex-DPWH secretary Mark Villar with 49.9%.
Entering the Magic 12 are Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri (48.4%), ex-VP Jejomar Binay (46.1%), ex-Senator Jinggoy Estrada (45.4%), Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian (42%), Robin Padilla, Sen. Joel Villanueva (38.1%), and Sen. Risa Hontiveros (37%).
While those who clinched the 13-15 spots are ex-Sen. Gringo Honasan (33.8%), Sen. Richard Gordon (32.1%), and ex-Sen. JV Ejercito.
Meanwhile, today marks the last day for the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy for substitute candidates.
The campaign period for nationally-elected positions will kick off on February 8, 2022, until May 7, 2022 while the nationwide elections are scheduled to be held on May 9.
