Raffy Tulfo to Ping Lacson: “Ikaw ang idol ko. Totoo iyan, pagdating sa disiplina at honesty”
RAFFY TULFO – The veteran broadcaster-turned-senatorial candidate is backing the presidential bid of Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.
Lacson will run for the highest position in the government in the coming polls.
He will go against presidential aspirants such as; Vice President Leni Robredo, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and senators Manny Pacquiao and Bato dela Rosa.
A lot of personalities, celebrities, and even politicians have expressed their support to Ping Lacson, and among those is senatorial candidate Raffy Tulfo.
During the campaign rally of Partido Reporma in Lacson’s town in Imus Cavite, Tulfo admitted that the incumbent senator is his idol when it comes to discipline and honesty.
According to him, it was an honor to be included in Lacson’s senatorial ticket as an independent candidate.
“Ikaw ang idol ko. Totoo iyan, pagdating sa disiplina at honesty,” said Raffy who’s also known “Idol Raffy” by his followers on social media.
Like Lacson, Tulfo is also concerned about the country’s recurring problems, especially the labor sector.
He vowed that when he’s elected as senator, he will pass legislation to make sure that workers have an equal fighting chance when it comes to the law.
Lacson, on the other hand, praised Tulfo and said he should continue his advocacy in the Senate especially in dissecting the national budget so that it reaches all Filipinos.
Raffy Tulfo, who is also a newspaper columnist, has a popular YouTube channel called “Raffy Tulfo in Action,” which currently has 21.8 million subscribers.
