RAFFY TULFO – The veteran broadcast journalist revealed the reason why he wanted to become a senator in the 2022 elections.
It was on Saturday, October 2 when he filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC).
Following his political bid, he had said goodbye to his public service program, Idol in Action, and primetime newscast.
In an interview with CNN Philippines on Monday, he said that the “broken” justice system in the Philippines, which has also led to the rise of the so-called “Tulfo Justice.” is the reason why he wants to enter politics.
He said he wanted to end the reason why many people prefer to go to his Raffy Tulfo in Action (RTIA) program instead of trusting the legal process.
“Kung maayos sana ang pamamalakad ng ating mga taga gobyerno, hindi na nila kailangan ang RTIA. Hindi na nila kailangan ako,” he said.
He also shared the would-be advocacy that he took on the common problems that complainants share with him in his program.

He said he will formulate legislation that would benefit the Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), labor and family.
Tulfo became famous because of his public service program where he tried to fix the problem of his complainants.
Almost everyone says that those who have problems should seek the help of Tulfo instead of the authorities. That is why it is not surprising that Tulfo landed on the number one spot in some surveys for the senatorial slate.
