Here’s the promise of Mel Sarmiento to Kris Aquino
MEL SARMIENTO – The former Interior secretary shared his promise for his future wife, Kris Aquino.
It was on Sunday, October 24 when Kris announced through an Instagram post her engagement with Sarmiento.
Recently, she, Sarmiento, and her youngest son Bimby sat down for a talk wherein she gave details about her relationship with the ex-DILG secretary.
Bimby is the son of Kris Aquino with her estranged husband, PBA star James Yap. Aside from Bimby, she also has another son, Josh, with her former partner, Phillip Salvador.
The Queen of All Media and the former Interior secretary met through her late brother, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III in 2015.
Noynoy Aquino passed away in June due to renal disease, secondary to diabetes.
At the time, Mel Sarmiento was serving as the Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
To make the long story short, they found themselves being attached to each other and they got to know each other “so well, so fast” during the pandemic.
When asked what is his message for Kris, he said that he will take care of his future wife at the same time spend the rest of his life with her.
“Aalagaan kita. At kasama mo ako sa buong buhay natin,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kris promised to give her followers on social media some glimpse of her coming nuptials with Mel.
Presently, she’s gearing up for the preparations of their much-awaited wedding.
