In the online forum Kapihan sa Manila Bay, the presidential candidate bared his net worth when he was asked if he’s willing to publicly disclose his Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN).

SALN is an annual document that all government workers in the Philippines, whether regular or temporary, must complete and submit attesting under oath to their total assets and liabilities, including businesses and financial interests, that make up their net worth.

“Of course. It’s public. It’s there already. [My net worth is] about 70 million, more or less,” he said.

Isko Moreno whose real name is Francisco Domagoso revealed his net worth citing that in his 23 years of service in the government, he was never charged with corruption.

The actor-turned-politician was born and raised in Tondo. It was in the 1980s when he joined the entertainment industry and in 1998, he decided to venture into politics.

He is married to a certain Diana Ditan, a businesswoman.

During his term as vice mayor of Manila in 2014, he was among those charged with plunder for allegedly pocketing P77 million in real property taxes in the country’s capital. But according to ABS-CBN News, he called the case, “politically motivated.”

Meanwhile, Isko Moreno will run independently alongside his vice-presidential running-mate Doc. Willie Ong.

The actor-turned-politician will go against the presidential aspirants; Senator Manny Pacquiao, Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Ping Lacson, and former Senator Bongbong Marcos. An immense battle between the presidential bets is expected in the coming days/months.
