Chief of Staff of Mayor Isko Moreno Resigns from Duty

ISKO MORENO – Cesar Chavez, the Chief of Staff of Mayor Isko, gave a message for the Manila Mayor as he resigned from his work.

One of the personalities working closely with politicians like city mayors is the Chief of Staff which holds a big responsibility. They are among the most trusted men of the politicians.

For Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, his chief of staff was Cesar Chavez. However, recently, Chavez tendered his resignation from duty and gave a message for the capital city’s mayor.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Chavez said he received an offer from the Manila Broadcasting Company in March 2021. He regarded broadcasting as his “first love” and said that he told Mayor Isko about the offer.

Furthermore, the former Chief of Staff of the Manila Mayor also revealed that he also told the Mayor about his plan to accept the offer. He stated that he is done with his other love which is the government and is happy to be back with his first love, the radio broadcasting.

Based on the report, the former Chief of Staff of Mayor Isko Moreno thanked the Manila City Mayor for the chance to be a part of his team and for the understanding. He stressed that there are a lot of excellent and good people working in the local government of Manila.

Before he entered the government Chavez is already a radio broadcaster. His resignation came ahead of the bid of Mayor Isko for a national post in the Election 2022.

Mayor Isko is running for president with celebrity doctor Willie Ong as his vice president in the next election. He vowed to be a “healing president” of the Philippines if he wins. According to the Manila Mayor, many of his projects have already been tested in Manila.

During the filing of candidacy period, there was a hashtag, the #WithdrawIsko, that went trending on social media. To it, he reacted and stressed his right to run for public office.
