Gino Roque: “I just want to say that I personally know Heaven”
GINO ROQUE – The actor defended his Pasabuy leading lady Heaven Peralejo.
The two stars in the new digital rom-com series, Pasabuy directed by actor Xian Lim.
In the series, Heaven portrays the role of Anna, a popular vlogger working on her latest video who is hiding her true feelings for her manager. While her love team partner Gino Roque plays the character of John, an aspiring musician trying to heal from a recent heartbreak.
Their paths crossed when they found themselves at the same resort just before the lockdown. Prior to that, they first met online via a virtual community for pasabuy orders.
In an interview with Star Magic’s Inside News, he defended Heaven saying she is totally the opposite of what some netizens are saying on social media.
According to him, Heaven is such a sweet and caring person, and working with her is such a “breeze.”
It was just recently when Heaven Peralejo made a buzz online following her allegedly short-lived relationship with Kiko Estrada.
The two made their relationship public back in August, but a few weeks later, news broke that they have broken after netizens noticed Kiko unfollowing Heaven and deleting their photos on his Instagram account.
Prior to that, the couple celebrated their third monthsarry and even posts some romantic snaps of them together.
Meanwhile, Heaven said that she appreciates Gino as an actor also as the producer of their romantic-comedy series.
Pasabuy also stars with former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemates Ralph Malibunas, Ella Cayabyab and Gail Banawis and it is streaming on WeTV Philippines.
