Piolo Pascual: “Once a Kapamilya, you’re a Kapamilya forever”
Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual recently expressed his gratefulness to ABS-CBN that took care of him for the past 25 years.
Piolo finally laid all rumors of transferring to another network to rest after months of speculation and showed that he’s still a certified Kapamilya.
“It feels good to be home. I never left anyway, so I’m just really happy and grateful for the moment to be back and to be welcomed by my bosses, my family. It’s a good feeling to be here,” Piolo said.
He also revealed that he had been in constant talks with the management as to what project he can do for ABS-CBN despite the absence of a franchise.
According to him, this was the best time to show support and loyalty, adding that he didn’t want to hurt the station and that’s the reason why he stayed in the network.
The actor also expressed his gratefulness to the network that took care of him for the past 25 years. According to him, it’s not his intention to leave or to go anywhere.
“I’m just siguro after being in ABS for 25 years, it’s also one way of returning the favor kasi ‘di ba they took care of me for so long so at least it’s time for me to give back the kabaitan and ‘yung opportunities na binigay sa akin through the years,” Piolo said.
Piolo officially signed the contract with ABS-CBN last Thursday.
Deo Endrinal revealed in an Instagram post that the actor will be working with Lovi Poe for the Philippine adaptation of the Korean drama hit “Flower of Evil”.
It didn’t take long for Piolo to say yes after the first pitch and now he and Lovi were set to start filming for the said project. According to the actor, he got really excited to be able to work with the actress.
