Mayor Isko Moreno Expressed Side on Possibility of Working with Pres. Duterte
ISKO MORENO – The Manila Mayor spoke his side on what may happen if he wins president and President Rodrigo Roa Duterte wins vice president.
One of the topics that are widely-talked about now is the upcoming Election 2022. Many incumbent politicians and those who want to join the political field have already announced their bids.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will start receiving the Certificate of Candidacies (COCs) in October. Many Filipinos are wondering who might add to the list of the presidential candidates who have already confirmed their bids.
One of those who announced that he will run for president is Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. Undeniably, he is one of the loudest names for the presidency.
Mayor Isko is running with Doc Willie Ong as his vice president. The cardiologist is on the vice presidential race with Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who will represent the PDP-Laban Cusi wing.
It was just recently when Pres. Duterte signed the official nomination of the Cusi wing of the ruling party for vice president. They have yet to make a final decision on their bet for president.
Prior to the announcements of their political plans, Mayor Isko Moreno and Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte were involved in an issue. The 76-year-old Chief Executive had negative comments towards an unnamed “Metro Manila Mayor” over his photos online.
Many believe that the President was pertaining to Mayor Isko who is a former actor. The capital city’s Mayor addressed the issue stressing that showbiz is a part of his life and the field has greatly helped him uplift his family’s financial status in life.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Manila Mayor assured that he can work with Pres. Duterte. Not many details about it is posted yet. More updates may be released soon.
