CocoJul is considered one of the most popular love teams in the country since they first worked in the defunct series, Walang Hanggan.

However, their love team made a showbiz hiatus.

They last appeared on television via “Wansapanataym’s Yamashita’s Treasures” in 2015.

Finally, after years of waiting, Coco Martin and Julia Montes reunited in a television series.

It was just recently when Julia was introduced as the newest leading lady of Coco in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Ang Probinsyano coincides with the airing of The World Between Us (TWBU) starring Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Alden Richards.

TWBU is marked as the first acting project of Jasmine and Alden.

Since it has the same timeslot with Ang Probinsyano, it’s inevitable that they are compared particularly their respective love team.

On Twitter, Jasmine Curtis-Smith shared a tweet courtesy of Abante News with the title: “Alden, Jasmine sinasabong sa CocoJul.”

Jasmine, on the other hand, noted in her caption: “Manok mga yarn.”

Meanwhile, TWBU premiered on July 5, 2021 on the network’s Telebabad line up replacing First Yaya.

Jasmine Curtis-Smith, the sister of Kapamilya host-actress Anne Curtis, is known internationally for her critically acclaimed performance in Hannah Espia’s 2013 film Transit.

Jasmine started her showbiz career through TV5 wherein she was groomed by the network to be one of its Primetime Princesses.

One of her notable roles in Kapatid Network was via Nandito Ako, where she co-starred with Eula Caballero and American Idol season 7 runner-up David Archuleta.

In 2018, she decided to transfer on GMA-7.
