EUMIR MARCIAL – The 2020 Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist paid a tribute to senator and boxing champ Manny Pacquiao despite his loss with Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas.
Unfortunately, he lost to Ugas via a Unanimous decision (115-113, 116-112, 116-112) after 12 rounds of boxing.
Ugas started as an amateur after winning a gold medal at the 2005 World Championships and bronze at the 2008 Olympics.
In 2020, he is ranked as the world’s fifth-best active welterweight by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and seventh by The Ring magazine and BoxRec.
