Introducing the private chef and close friend of Drew Barrymore
Hollywood star Drew Barrymore couldn’t help but praise her close friend and private chef Pilar Valdes.
Pilar is a “self-taught” Filipina chef who is now based in New York City in the U.S.
Based on LinkedIn, a business-and-employment-oriented online service, Pilar graduated from the University of the Philippines in 2000 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, from Sarah Lawrence College, in Bronxville, New York.
Pilar is co-owner of Kickshaw Cookery, a catering service company in New York.
Aside from being Drew’s good friend and personal chef, Pilar is also a regular guest on The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk show of the Hollywood A-list actress and producer.
In the past episodes of The Drew Barrymore Show, the American actress always mentioned how close she is to Pilar.
Drew is also very open about Pilar’s big role in her life.
Pilar first appeared on Drew’s talk show on October 21, 2020. She was featured in the cooking segment.
Drew describes Pilar as “very special to me,” and “incredibly talented chef and we’ve been side by side now for about three years, and she’s also my dear friend.”
Pilar is said to be the key to the Hollywood star to protect her figure.
Today, Drew considers Pilar as “one of my dearest friends.”
