LA Madridejos on Wenn Deramas: “Naalala ko nun nabubuhay pa si direk Wenn, maraming nagsasabi na ‘basura’ ang mga pelikulang gawa nya.”
GMA director LA Madridejos recalled via a Facebook post his conversation with late director Wenn Deramas on the latter’s movies being called “basura.”
Recently, he went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he shared his previous conversation with the late director Wenn Deramas.
“Naalala ko nun nabubuhay pa si direk Wenn, maraming nagsasabi na ‘basura’ ang mga pelikulang gawa nya. Tinanong ko sya kung anong reaction nya dito. Sabi nya, ang nagsasabi na basura yung gawa nya e yung mga taong hindi makagawa ng gawa nya. So ang ending, lalaitin nalang nila. Ang importante daw kay direk Wenn, sigurado syang marami syang viewers na napapasaya… at madalas kumita ng more than 100M ang mga pelikula nya,” he said.
“Sabi pa nya, hindi daw nya kelangan manlait ng gawa ng iba para patunayan na mahusay sya. Lalo na at maliit lang ang industriya namin. Pero marami din syang inokray ng patago. Haha.
Naalala ko lang. namiss kita direk Wenn,” he added.
Meanwhile, former Kapuso director Andoy Ranay previously made a buzz following his statement at the press conference for his new iWant mini-series “My Sunset Girl.”
At one point he said, “So, aanhin mo ang franchise kung basura naman ‘yung trabaho? Wow, grabe (laughs). I mean, ‘di ba? Parang mas masarap na lang mag-trabaho kahit bawas ‘yung sweldo, kahit hindi laging may trabaho pero alam mo ‘yung quality nu’ng trabaho, ‘yung maibibigay mo sa audience mo, in the service of the Filipino, we have responsibility to our audience.”
