Ynna Asistio and her mom were positive for coronavirus
Ynna Asistio revealed that she and her mother Nadia Montenegro tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
She shared her tragic experience via a post on the image-sharing site, Instagram.
The actress said that the first result of her COVID-19 test was negative, while her mother Nadia immediately tested positive.
“Half of the family had Covid here’s my story. Did RT-PCR test because I was suppose to leave for Bicol. When the test came out that afternoon, I was negative but sad part is mom tested positive,” she said.
She added that all members of their family were considered PUI (persons under investigation).
“While fixing my requirements for my flight, I had to print the results only to find out that i was also positive,” she noted.
At first, Ynna Asistio was said to be asymptomatic but by the fifth day, she did not feel well.
“I started to feel mild symptoms like cold sweats, headache, fatigue, loss of appetite (but I didn’t lose my senses of smell & taste), nausea and shortness of breath,” lahad niya.
Ynna Asistio also complained of feeling pain in her lower back.
In addition to taking medication and vitamins, Ynna is said to have rested her body to fight the virus.
