Windows 11 hype was still not settled and it looked like Microsoft had just confirmed the existence of Windows 11 and its leak in a DMCA complaint.

Fossbytes reported that Microsoft Japan had filed a DMCA complaint against Beebom — a technology news publication based out of India — for distributing unreleased ISO copy of Windows 11 (Copyrighted to Microsoft).

Microsoft had also asked Google to remove Beebom’s article from the search as it “contains a leaked copy of the unreleased Windows 11”.

Aper the report, the DMCA complaint (click here to view) confirmed the existence of Windows 11. For some context, the tech giant was all set to reveal “What’s next for Windows” in a live online #MicrosoftEvent scheduled for June 24, 2021.

What netizens saw in the leaked ISO copy of the unreleased Windows 11 operating system was UI changes and improvements. However, the build still can’t be called a “generational update” as there were no major changes under the hood.
