Bearwin Meily: “Hindi na daw ako nakakatawa.”
BEARWIN MEILY – The actor-comedian revealed in an interview why he is no longer active in the world of showbiz.
He entered the entertainment industry in the early ‘90s and has been known as a sidekick in movies and television shows.
But over the years, his projects went elusive until he became inactive.
His last regular program was via the weekend sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” on ABS-CBN in 2018.
But why did Bearwin Meily’s showbiz career falter?
“Nawala yung pag-aartista kasi payat na daw ako. Hindi na daw ako nakakatawa,” he said.
He quipped: “Ang pogi ko na daw po sa personal, di ba? Nasasapawan ko na daw si John Lloyd, di ba, ‘tsaka yung mga bida.”
At present, the 45-year-old comedian is no longer active in showbiz and now focuses on selling corn dogs.
It was in 2019 when he decided to enter politics and ran for councilor but unfortunately, he did not win.
After losing the election, Bearwin Meily had trouble with his finances which forced him to sell his dream house.
