Beauty queen-turned-actress Maxine Medina reacted to the network transfer of former Kapamilya stars; Pokwang and Beauty Gonzalez.
According to her, she was not surprised that the two has decided to move to GMA-7.
“I think it’s a good thing for us, actors/entertainers, that we explore all the opportunities around us,” she said.
“Most especially in the showbiz industry, it’s not a one-way benefit, not only just because we are all in the midst of pandemic,” she added.
In 2016, during her reign as Binibining Pilipinas-Universe, Maxine entered the world of showbiz through ASAP as one of the Kapamilya show’s co-hosts.
Maxine Medina then starred in Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Los Bastardos, which aired in 2018.
In 2020, she appeared on TV5’s Sunday Kada.
Before the end of the year, she became a Kapuso artist and eventually became a cast in First Yaya, starring Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion.
Maxine Medina noted that what is important is to keep the viewers happy.
“I think it’s a good thing that we are all helping, that each and every one can contribute in lifting everyone up through acting and to bring entertainment for the people to help lessen their anxiety nowadays,” she said.
