Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas fires back at Presidential Spox Harry Roque
Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas slammed Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque over the latter’s statement that Filipinos are “pasaway” that’s why COVID-19 spread.
According to the Mayor of Iloilo City, it is wrong to blame the Filipinos for the COVID-19 surge.
“Ang masakit pa, tumataas ang kaso namin, kami pa ang may kasalanan. Ano ba ‘yan? Hindi naman tama ‘yan…There is this virus that is going around,” Treñas said in an interview with One PH.
The mayor said that instead of blaming, Roque should just help to reduce the COVID-19 case in various provinces.
Treñas added that he used to think of helping Roque in case he runs for the Senate, but now he seems hesitant to support his former colleague in the House of Representatives.
“OK naman si Harry but minsan, mas mabilis ang bunganga niya sa utak niya so I think as an intelligent person, dapat mauna ang utak mo sa bunganga mo,” he said.
He added: “He is blaming the Ilonggos. What kind of secretary are you? Are you there as a secretary to help out? Or are you a secretary who will be blaming people because they get sick?”

Harry Roque should learn to emphasized with the people who are getting sick not blaming them for being sick.
Insensitive comments will caused the people to withdraw their support on you and the administration of Duterte.
I voted, in fact i campaigned and distributed wrist bands in support of Duterte…
My group even gave him a copy of a very important book together with a letter requesting for appointment.
I went to malacañang to again give a copy of the same request letter, but sadly unprofessional people do not give a corresponding reply even via txt message denying or granting the said request.
That was the first sign i saw of an administration of professionals acting worst than unprofessionals.
More were seen of the same. But i did not condemn them for i guess they were just overwhelmed by the tremendous things to be done.
