Former President Fidel Ramos was fully vaccinated against COVID-19 after receiving his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine on Friday.
The Muntinlupa City Government shared in a Facebook post that former President Ramos received his second dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine at the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School.
According to the Muntinlupa City Government, Dr. Lester Suntay administered the said vaccine to former President Ramos.
“Isang certified #BakunadongMuntinlupeño na si dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos (FVR), 92 taong gulang. Nabakunahan si FVR ng second dose ng Sinovac sa DLSZ kasama rin ang kanyang pamilya. Si Kgd. Dr. Lester Suntay ang nagbakuna kay FVR,” said the Muntinlupa City Government in a Facebook post

A total of 8,407,342 COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered as of June 20, 2021. Of this, 6,253,400 Filipinos have received their first dose while 2,153,942 Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Presidential Security Group (PSG) Commander Jesus Durante III confirmed on Friday that President Rodrigo Duterte had received his second dose of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine 14 days after his first dose vaccination of Sinopharm on May 3.
“Vaccinated na po siya, at napakahalaga po nito, para lalo namin siyang maingatan, lalo na magagawa niya nang maayos at tuloy-tuloy ang kanyang tungkulin, upang makapaglingkod sa ating mga kababayan,” Durante said.
