President Rodrigo Duterte has vowed justice for football player and his cousin killed in an IED blast in Masbate early this week.
Keith Absalon, 21, a Far Eastern University player along with his cousin Nolven died after an improvised explosive device exploded in Barangay Anas, Masbate City.
The two were biking when the incident happened.
“Pwede pong hulihin, litisin at parusahan ang mga taong gumamit ng pasabog na ito kahit saang parte ng daigdig because what they did po was a crime against the international community. Mariin namin itong kinukundena,” he added.
The Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) have been identified as responsible for the blast.
