Dancing while crying scene from The Half Sisters goes viral
A scene from defunct GMA-7 teleserye, The Half Sisters wherein Jean Garcia and Thea Tolentino can be seen dancing while crying went viral anew.
The viral scene was reposted on TikTok by a user named Matthew Profeta on March 19, 2021.
It was his response to a TikTok question: “What’s an acting performance that was SO GOOD you forgot it was acting??”
In the said clip. Rina (Jean Garcia) and Ashley (Thea Tolentino) were being held hostage by unknown men.
“At dahil makulit kayo, sumayaw kayo,” the mastermind told them. Rina then asked: “Ano? Anong sasayaw? Bakit kami sasayaw?”
But when Rina saw a laser from a sniper gun pointed at Ashley, she started crying.
“Gusto mo bang tapyasin ko ang kaliwang tainga ng anak mo?” the caller said.
The two went on dancing while crying.
Meanwhile, Matthew’s post has earned more than 19k likes on TikTok as of posting.
Aside from Jean and Thea, starring in the afternoon drama is actress Barbie Forteza.
