Glaiza De Castro opened up about David Rainey’s persistence
Glaiza De Castro recently opened up about David Rainey’s persistence as she talked about her relationship with her Irish fiancé.
In the 9th episode of Lia Cruz’s podcast “What Glass Ceiling”, Glaiza shared that one of the qualities that she loved about David was his persistence as he consistently pursued her despite the long distance.
According to her, she didn’t expect her fiancé to be persistent that he pursued her even though he’s far away from her.
“Sobra kong na-a-appreciate kasi hindi siya usual na na-e-experience mo so sobra siyang iba sa ‘kin tapos nararamdaman mo na lang na ay ibang klaseng tao ‘to. So dahil sa pagpupursige niya kahit malayo, doon ko na-realize na ay iba, hindi siya fling na may expiry date,” Glaiza shared.

Last year, David was stranded in the Philippines because of travel restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic. David had no choice but to extend his stay in Baler which the actress thought was a blessing in disguise as she and her parents got to know David more.
When asked about how she determined David was “the one” for her, the actress took into account her parents’ observation.

Also, Glaiza noticed of the green flags that she had found a keeper in her partner when he unconsciously practiced the Filipino tradition of “pamamanhikan.”
Glaiza and David officially became a couple last September 2018 and her partner popped the question to her after more than two years of being in a relationship when she took a vacation in Ireland last December 2020.
