Is Joshua Garcia the newest leading man of Nancy?
JOSHUA GARCIA – The Kapamilya actor is currently being rumored as the newest leading man of MOMOLAND’s Nancy McDonie in “The Soulmate Project.”
It was in February this year when James Reid confirmed via a Kumu Livestream that he’s pulling out of the said series.
But in the Instagram Live of MLD Entertainment, the talent agency of Nancy, announced that she will be returning to the Philippines in June 2021 to resume the taping of her show.
Joshua Garcia is said to be her newest leading man, replacing James Reid.
However, the actor is yet to confirm it.
The Soulmate Project centers on the story of Jayson, from Tondo, Manila and Binna, a Korean-American who lives in the Philippines, who gets picked by the government for the third-batch implementation of a law that matches citizens with their soulmates, under the fictional Republic Act 143, or The Soulmate Project.
It is directed by Antoinette Jadaone who’s also behind “Fan Girl” and “Never Not Love You”.
The Soulmate Project would follow the K-drama format of having 13 episodes.
