Iza Calzado: “Ang bilis ng pangyayari.”
IZA CALZADO – The actress shared that she witnessed the recent fire incident that broke in front of her residence in Makati City.
It was on Tuesday, April 6 when flames engulfed a building in Makati City. It is located in front of her home.
“Ang bilis ng pangyayari. Naghugas lang ako ng plato mga 10-12mins when I went back to the window area, I saw black smoke,” Iza Calzado said.
“Yung term na engulfed in flames talaga yung naisip ko,” she added.
According to Iza Calzado, people immediately rushed to open space when the fire broke.
“Napatili talaga ako. My God, grabe na ang pinagdadaanan ng mga tao, may COVID, may lockdown, tigil-trabaho, tapos ganito, may sunog pa,” she said.
“Sana walang nasaktan o namatay, dasal pa tayo, kapit lang,” sabi ni Iza na sinusubukang maging positibo sa gitna ng pinagdaraanan nating lahat,” she added.
Fortunately, there were construction workers fixing the rooftop of the said building when it was engulfed by fire and they help to put out the fire.
A source of PEP.ph said that the firemen find it difficult to put out the fire since the portion of the building where the fire started is located on a higher part.
