Harry Roque To Transfer To Treatment Facility From PGH

Harry Roque had been deemed fit enough to transfer from his room at PGH to a treatment facility.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque on Tuesday said that he had been deemed fit enough to transfer out of his room at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and move to a temporary treatment and monitoring facility or TTMF.

During his regular press briefing, Roque said that he was told that he should arrange for a TTMF starting Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

A TTMF or a temporary treatment and monitoring facility was a type of facility that accommodated patients with mild COVID-19 symptoms in order to free up hospital beds for persons with moderate to severe COVID-19 symptoms.

Roque then defended his hospital admission by saying that he’s in “bad shape” at the time he sought a room at the Philippine General Hospital last April 10.

Previously, Roque said that his oxygen level had dropped to 90 percent, which was below the normal 98 percent. However, Roque on Sunday said that he felt better after taking remdesivir — an anti-viral drug.

Roque also shared more about the details of his COVID-19 reinfection during his press briefing.

In a report on GMA News Online, Roque also said that he informed his doctors in PGH when he experienced COVID-19 symptoms last April 5 and tested positive for COVID-19 last April 6, 2021.

Roque then announced his confinement for COVID-19 at the Philippine General Hospital last April 11 (Saturday), four days after he had tested positive for COVID-19.
