Roque is now negative
HARRY ROQUE – The presidential spokesperson announced that he has tested negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
It was on March 15 when Roque, who’s also the spokesman of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, revealed that he contracted the dreaded disease.
But in his latest press statement, he shared that he has already finished his 14-day quarantine and is now negative of the virus.
According to him, he has received a certificate for the completion of his quarantine.
“Nag-negative na po ako sa PCR result,” he said.
He noted that might have got the disease from one of this recent hospital visits.
“Kung talagang hindi kinakailangan pumunta sa ospital, di na po ako tatapak sa ospital,” he said.
Roque also traveled to various provinces around the country amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
He is among the Cabinet members who have recovered from the threats of the virus following DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez and DILG Secretary Eduardo Año.
