On her Instagram last Sunday, March 21, Korina shared a throwback photo of her with Noli and Ted Failon while in the TV Patrol studio.

It is accompanied by the caption: “FlashbackFriday: Days of Comfort Predictability [green heart emoji] @kabayannolidecastro #tedfailon.”

Noli commented on this using his Instagram account @kabayannolidecastro.

Noli de Castro said he miss what they did together on the prime-time newscast of the Kapamilya network.

He noted: “I really missed the days we are together sa tv patrol, and nothing can beat our teamwork, nobody, but there is no forever.”

To which she replied: “@kabayannolidecastro Hay true. Pwede namang ForeverFriends Kabayan! And… Malay mo? Hahaha.”

Korina and Ted are both on TV5 now.

Noli was the pioneer anchor of TV Patrol when it was launched by ABS-CBN in 1987. He was joined by Mel Tiangco and Robert Arevalo.

In 1995, Korina entered the newscast when Mel left ABS-CBN to switch to GMA.

On March 5, 2001, Korina became the main anchor of the show because De Castro ran for senator.

He was joined by Henry Omaga-Diaz and Aljo Bendijo as co-anchors.

In 2004, the show was given a new face as TV Patrol World with Ted as the main anchor along with Karen Davila and Julius Babao.

With the relaunch of the program in 2010 as TV Patrol, the original anchors Noli, Korina, and Ted reunited.

In 2015, Korina left the news program and was replaced by Bernadette Sembrano. Noli and Ted still stayed there.

With the loss of the ABS-CBN franchise, Ted left the program in August 2020 to switch to TV5.

Korina has also left ABS-CBN to switch to the Kapatid network.

Noli, Bernadette, and Henry remain anchors of the TV Patrol to this day.
