Arjo Atayde will enter the field of producing movies
Award-winning actor Arjo Atayde is set to produce the tribute film for the late showbiz icon Eddie Garcia.
During the recent Kapamilya Strong event intended for artists who renewed their contract with ABS-CBN, the Asian Academy Creative Awards Best Actor shared that he will push through his plan of producing a film for Eddie.
Arjo was first hesitant to share the details about his upcoming projects during the said event, based on the article in Bandera.
He said that they will be working on something mid-year and they will announce it soon as he gets the care coming from his home network.
Then, he mentioned the supposed project he will have with Eddie. āComing this April, Iām working on a movie that was supposed to be for me and Mr. Eddie Garcia. It became a tribute to him and this is one of the movies that Iām first producing alongside with my team so this is one of the stories that weāre looking forward to tell,ā Arjo Atayde shared.
The other project that he is set to do is going to be a āseryosong storyā, however, he is not allowed yet to divulge the details.
Meanwhile, the actor expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN as he was given an opportunity to do what he loves. When asked why he still chose to be a Kapamilya despite the denied franchise, Arjo Atayde said that it is because of the trust that he has for ABS-CBN.
āHonestly, I trust them. I trust them since day one. So whatever project they may give me, Iām good. Iām just happy to be home. Iām a team player. If they sink, I sink with them,ā the actor said.
