Vivoree Reacts to Body-Shaming on It’s Showtime

Vivoree Esclito took to social media wherein she reacted after being body-shamed on the ABS-CBN noontime program, It’s Showtime.

NO TO BODY SHAMING” landed as one of the trending topics on the micro-blogging site Twitter after the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate was body-shamed during It’s Showtime’s Hide and Sing segment.

In the segment where players should guess who is the celebrity singer among the three contestants called Tago-Kanta, a picture of the first contestant was shown without showing its whole physical appearance.

Jugs Jugueta-one of the hosts, then said that it was the actress-singer.

The Itchyworms frontman quipped: “Si Vivoree ‘yan!”

Karylle immediately reacted by calling out her fellow host but he exclaimed that he was just joking.

Meanwhile, Vivoree took to social media to express her sentiments on the matter.

On Twitter, she retweeted a 2019 post about body-shaming while on Instagram, she posted on her IG story an art card with a quote: “Don’t you dare make me feel ashamed of my body.”

Netizens also couldn’t help but react to the alleged body-shaming of Vivoree.

“This is not funny, this is the last time you’re gonna make fun of her,” a netizen said.

Another netizen noted: “I’m with this: NO TO BODY SHAMING. The world is too depressing, yet people are continuing shaming others by weight, height, and for being mabalbon. This Vivoree girl is beautiful. Every girls are beautiful no matter what. Don’t make fun (of) what they have.”
