Alvin Elchico Reveals Condition of Doris Bigornia Now Following Heart Attack
DORIS BIGORNIA – TeleRadyo’s Alvin Elchico gave an update on the condition of his fellow broadcaster now after a heart attack.
One of the most popular broadcasters in the Philippine media field is Doris Bigornia. She is currently one of the news broadcasters in a program of TeleRadyo together with Alvin Elchico.
However, yesterday, Alvin made a revelation amid questions on the absence of Doris in the program. According to him, his fellow broadcaster suffered from a heart attack last Sunday.
Heart attack occurs when there is blockage in the artery that carries blood and oxygen to the heart. It is a major condition that can lead to sudden death thus an immediate response is greatly needed.
There are cases when the solution is a surgery. Amid the risks, there are several patients who went through an open heart surgery and survived the ordeal.
Alvin sought the permission of the family of Doris before informing the public about what happened to the veteran broadcaster. She is currently admitted in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an undisclosed hospital.
According to Alvin Elchico, Doris Bigornia is conscious. They have talked over the phone but she needs to undergo an open-heart surgery.
“Conscious po si Doris pero kakailanganin po niya yung open-heart surgery pagkatapos po ng atake sa puso,” he said.
