Transgressive, the record label of the singer, took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein it shared the passing of the 34-year-old entertainer.

“Tragically our beautiful Sophie passed away this morning after a terrible accident. True to her spirituality she had climbed up to watch the full moon and slipped and fell,” said Transgressive in a statement.

“She will always be here with us. The family thank everyone for their love and support and request privacy at this devastating time,” it added.

The singer passed away at her home in Athens, Greece.

It was in 2015 when she released her album called “Product” and “Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides” in 2018.
