The poor mom who is earning P25 per day for making 500 pieces of barbeque sticks received help from kind-hearted individuals.
Previously, a netizen identified as Marilou Mendoza Labanes has shared the heartbreaking situation of a poor grandma who is earning P25 per day for making 500 pieces of barbeque sticks just to support her mentally-incapacitated daughter and granddaughter.
The elderly lady is the one who performs all the household chores and making a living just to earn even a small amount of cash just to feed her family. She sells 100 pieces of barbeque sticks for P5 and was able to make 500 sticks per day and earning a total amount of P25 daily.
The poor woman’s photos immediately spread like a wildfire online and her filthy situation breaks the hearts of social media users. Most of them asked for the grandma’s location so they could send help.
Recently, Labanes released an update regarding the poor grandma’s situation. Marilou asked help from the online community to provide foods or cash for the old woman and her family.
A lot of kind-hearted netizens lend their helping hand and shared their blessing for the poor granny who continue to work despite her old age just to provide the necessities of her daughter and grandchild.
In the photos, it can be seen that the grandma receives a few sacks of rice, canned goods, eggs, groceries, and other goodies from kind-hearted individuals.
