Official music video of Paubaya reaches 7.1 million views in 24 hours
PAUBAYA – The official music video of Moira Dela Torre’s hit single starring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, popularly known as JoshLia earned 7.1 million views in just 24 hours.
On Sunday, February 14, Valentine’s Day, Moira released on her official YouTube channel the music video of her hit song, “Paubaya.”
Its music video has been tagged by many as the official closure of former love team and real-life couple, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.
Moira, alongside her husband Jason Hernandez as well as JoshLia, worked together to come up with the script dialogue.
It was directed by Niq Ablao who worked with the couple for the storyline perfect for the music video.
While its making rounds online via the larges video-sharing platform, it also earned mixed reactions from the netizens and even celebrities.
“Grabe ung Moira!!! Sya ang Rey Valera ng bagong milenyo!” Vice Ganda wrote in a Twitter post.
Bianca Gonzalez on the other hand said: “Paubaya”: “HUUUUUY GRABE TO my Joshlia heartttt. Yung eksena sa gitna… Bakit parang totoong totoo. Mahal ko kayong dalawa whether together or as individuals.”
To which Julie responded, “We love you Ate!!!”
Many fans commented on Julia’s tweet with two black and white photos of JoshLia in front of the altar.
They said they became emotional while watching the music video.
