Jose Sarasola and Maria Ozawa marked their 4th year of togetherness on Valentine’s Day.
Filipino chef Jose Sarasola and former adult film star Maria Ozawa celebrated their 4th year of togetherness on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021.
In an interview on “Tunay na Buhay” last February 11, 2021, which was hosted by Pia Arcangel, Sarasola was asked about how he dealt with his partner’s past as an adult film actress.
According to Sarasola, he didn’t really think that way as he thought it worked that he didn’t give her that impression.
Sarasola also said that he didn’t treat his partner as an international star, and he instead treated her partner as a person who she really was inside.
“I didn’t really think that way. I think it worked na I didn’t give her that impression. I didn’t treat her as Maria Ozawa the international star. I treated her as Maria Ozawa the person, who she really is inside,” he noted.

Sarasola and Ozawa first met at Sarasola’s establishment — 75 Sports Bar in Parañaque.
According to Sarasola, he didn’t want to “act starstruck” even if he knew who Ozawa was, while Ozawa said that he caught her eye because he’s “macho”.
Meanwhile, Sarasola took to social media as he shared a photo of himself alongside his partner.
Ozawa was currently based in Japan and they had been in a long-distance relationship (LDR) since last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
