Local showbiz personalities congratulated actress Angel Locsin after she received an award from the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).
It was last January 17 when Angel expressed her gratitude to the Philippine Red Cross as she received a “Spirit of Philanthropy” award from a humanitarian organization.
“Thank you @philredcross” Angel said in her Instagram post.
After she posted a photo of herself holding a certificate that she received from the Philippine Red Cross, local showbiz personalities — including Vhong Navarro, Eula Valdez, Cholo Barretto, and Bubbles Paraiso — congratulated her for the recognition.

Aside from them, netizens also congratulated Angel for being recognized for her tireless efforts in pursuing her civic work duties and her advocacies.

Angel was currently the ambassador of the Philippine Red Cross who had actively taken part in the organization’s programs and initiatives.
She previously assisted the organizations’ volunteers and staff in their efforts to help families affected by floods.
Also, Angel was hailed in Tatler Asia‘s “Gen T List” which recognized young leaders who were shaping the future of Asia with their initiatives on society.
Angel was recognized for her philanthropic work such as donating USD 300,000 to scholarships for the less-fortunate people.
