Angel Locsin received an award from the Philippine Red Cross
Actress Angel Locsin recently took to social media as she shared a photo wherein she received an award from the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).
In her Instagram post last January 17, Angel received a “Spirit of Philanthropy” award from the Philippine Red Cross.
As seen in the certificate, Angel received a “Spirit of Philanthropy” award because of her outstanding civic and philanthropic support and leadership through volunteerism, exceptional generosity, commitment to philanthropy, and local community involvement.

With this, Angel then expressed her gratitude to the organization she’s an ambassador of by sharing a photo of herself holding the certificate.
“Thank you @philredcross” Angel said in her Instagram post.

In a report on Interaksyon, Angel previously received the “Jury Award for Humanitarian Citation” last year from the 18th Gawad Tanglaw or the Tagapuring mga Akademisyan ng Aninong Gumagalaw.
As per the report, Angel was currently an ambassador of the Philippine Red Cross who had actively taken part in the organization’s programs and initiatives.
Previously, Angel assisted the organizations’ volunteers and staff in their efforts to help families affected by floods.
