Raffy Tulfo tries acting
TV host-news anchor Raffy Tulfo, who is now considered one of the most popular YouTubers with 18.3 million subscribers, shared he tried acting.
In a recent interview, the phenomenal YouTuber gamely responded to questions about Wanted: Ang Serye, the dramatization of complaints and cases on his public service program, Raffy Tulfo in Action.
Raffy Tulfo is said to be a newcomer to Charo Santos of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and Mel Tiangco of “Magpakailanman” when it comes to dramatizing real-life stories on TV.
“Naku, hindi. Sina Ma’am Charo and Ma’am Mel, malayong-malayo na po sila at ang mga programa nila. Nandito pa lang po ako,” he said.
When asked if he will star in an episode of his new drama series, he said: “Ay no, I won’t act. Hindi bagay sa akin, hindi ko kaya. Sinubukan ko siya minsan, natatawa ako sa sarili ko, so hindi talaga pwede.”
It was on Saturday, January 16, when the first episode of Wanted: Ang Serye premiered on TV5.
The pilot episode of “Wanted: Ang Serye” featured the story of an OFW (played by Pokwang) who discovers on his return home that his children have a scandalous relationship (played by Bugoy Cariño and Louise delos Reyes).
“Wanted: Ang Serye” premieres every Saturday, 9 p.m. on TV5.
