Vice Ganda: “Sasamahan kita sa iyong pagbangon.”
It’s Showtime host and comedian Vice Ganda took to Twitter wherein he shared his reaction on the Christmas Station ID of home network, ABS-CBN.
Recently, ABS-CBN released its Christmas Station ID titled “Ikaw Ang Liwanag At Ligaya.”
Among those who shared his thoughts is Vice Ganda.
In a tweet he said: “Dear ABS-CBN, Saksi ako sa dami ng iyong pinagdaanan ngayong taon. Pinahirapan ka. Binugbog. Pinagtulungan. Patuloy na sinipa habang duguang nakahandusay. Pinipilit kitilin ang buhay. Naghingalo ngunit di namatay. Sasamahan kita sa iyong pagbangon. Sa iyong pagpapalakas. At sa muli mong paglipad. Binabati kita! Kahit na binalot ka ng dilim ay patuloy kang nagniningning! Mahal na mahal kita!”
It was in July when the House of Representatives denied the franchise application of the country’s largest network, ABS-CBN.
This prompted the shutdown of television and radio broadcast operations of the network with thousands of employees being retrenched.
Meanwhile, the Christmas Station ID of ABS-CBN highlighted the stories of Filipinos affected by the calamities particularly the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of posting, it has already earned more than 5.4 million views on the video-sharing platform, YouTube.
