“I know this is the Christmas season but can’t let this pass because I need to call out fake news. This is definitely not me,” she said referring to the fake photos.

Many believed that the photos were used to make the vice president appear to be only helping for publicity.

“My God, fVP (fake VP) Leni porridge, you really need a camera? You need to show how much money you are giving? You’re impossible. Your sympathy is fake. You are just using others. They’re wrong into thinking you’re just a puppet. Your true personality is showing. Your attitude is trash that it reeks. You are ruining Christmas,” the post said.

According to Manila Bulletin, Robredo herself confirmed that the Office of the Vice President extended help to the victims of the Tarlac shooting.

“We definitely gave help to the family of the slain mother and son but we never posted about it,” she said.

Last week, an inhuman incident took place in Tarlac at the hands of Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca who shot dead a mother and son named Sonya and Frank Gregorio.

This was after their scuffle that started when Frank and others were playing, “Boga”- an improvised cannon made of PVC pipe or tin cans.

Jonel Nuezca went to their residence to confront Frank and it prompted a commotion.

The incident later escalated which resulted in the death of Sonya and Frank Gregorio after being shot in the head twice.

Meanwhile, the tragedy caused turmoil on the internet after a video of the crime was posted online.
