Using a container, inflatable cushion, and at least 50 rescuers, a certain “Alain P.”, a 52-year-old obese guy weighing 250 to 350 kilograms was extracted from his house in Perpignan, France.

Alain P. was picked up by a large container and rescuers had to dismantle some parts of the house just to get inside. They also used an inflatable cushion to lift him.

The obese man could not move after falling off from his bed.

He will be staying in the hospital for a few months to help him with his needs at the same time aid him in losing body fat.

“He’s scared of this extraction. We understand, and now we’ve worked with him to get him in the right frame of mind. There’s a form of trust between us,” Mustapha Sebanne, head doctor ng Montpellier’s emergency services said.

It was in December 2019 when authorities tried to evacuate the obese guy but failed since he refused to be extracted from his house for the fear that his house is removed.
